Elvaston Castle Engagement Photoshoot
I simply love engagement photoshoots. Celebrating the love between two people is such a joyous thing, and I feel honoured to be able to capture that love in photographs. As a Derbyshire engagement photographer, there’s a good reason I often recommend Elvaston Castle to couples. It’s quite simply a beautiful location! There’s stunning planted gardens, as well as gorgeous areas of woodland. It’s so easy to get away from the crowds too! It was here that I met Matt and Becky for their Derbyshire engagement shoot. With all the terrible weather we’ve had so far this year, we managed to time this one just right, and (mostly) avoid the rain!

A Derbyshire engagement photoshoot gives you the chance to get some more natural, relaxed photos that are more representative of you as a couple. There’s no stress or anxiety that can come with a wedding day – it’s a totally laid back and relaxed photo session that goes at your own pace 🙂 You can also use the images for your big day, such as on invites or your couples website! Becky and Matt wanted some photos that they could use for invites, and I’m sure we got a few photographs that would fit the bill! Engagement photoshoots also provide the chance for you to meet your photographer prior to your wedding. As a Derbyshire engagement photographer, I always like to meet my couples before a wedding. At these sessions, we can go over poses, or discuss the finer details of your day. A Zoom call really just doesn’t compare!
